Job Role Overview
As a Technical Support Engineer at Microsoft CE&S, you'll be pivotal in troubleshooting and resolving customer technical issues. This role offers a chance to grow your career by enhancing problem-solving, collaboration, and research skills while developing technical proficiency across diverse Microsoft technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate and solve customer technical issues by collaborating within and across teams, leveraging troubleshooting tools and practices.
  • Participate in communities with peer delivery roles.
  • Develop specific technical and professional proficiency through training and readiness to understand and resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Identify potential product defects and provide feedback to contribute to Microsoft product improvements.

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years of technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field AND 1+ year(s) of technical support, technical consulting experience, or information technology experience.
  • Experience with one or more Big Data or Analytics Products and Services, including Azure Data Factory, Hadoop, Spark, Azure HDInsight, Azure Databricks, Azure Cosmos DB, NoSQL Services, MongoDB, Data Lake, and Cloud Streaming technologies.
  • Developer Experience with Python, Scala, and R.
  • Experience in customer support, product support, technical support, IT Admin support, Consulting, systems development, product development, network operations, software engineering, or I.T. consulting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • BA or BS degree.

Desirable Experience

  • Programming and debugging experience.
  • Experience in RDMS, such as Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft BI technologies.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.

Language Qualification

  • English Language. fluent in reading, writing, and speaking.
