Job Description

As a Technical Support Engineer within CSS, you will be responsible for owning, troubleshooting, and resolving customer technical issues. This role offers the opportunity to accelerate your career growth by honing your problem-solving skills, collaborating with diverse teams, and expanding your technical proficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Response and Resolution. Investigate and solve customer technical issues by collaborating across teams and leveraging troubleshooting tools and practices.
  2. Readiness. Participate in communities with peer delivery roles and develop specific technical and professional proficiency through training.
  3. Product/Process Improvement. Identify potential product defects and provide feedback to contribute to Microsoft product improvements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or related field AND 1+ years of technical support experience, OR 3+ years of technical support or information technology experience.
  • Experience with Big Data or Analytics Products and Services such as Azure Data Factory, Hadoop, Spark, Azure Cosmos DB, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Desirable Experience

  • Programming and debugging experience.
  • Familiarity with RDMS such as Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft BI technologies.
  • Ability to meet language qualification: Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
