I found the code examples for file uploads really helpful! But I'm curious—how do you handle large files or upload limits in .NET? Any best practices to share?

For uploading a document to the server in .NET, the implementation depends on whether you are using ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC, or ASP.NET Core MVC.
1. ASP.NET MVC
In MVC, use an HTML file input with
enctype="multipart/form-data"and receive the uploaded file through the controller action.2. ASP.NET Core MVC
In ASP.NET Core MVC, use
IFormFileto receive the uploaded file.For both approaches, the form should use
method="post"andenctype="multipart/form-data".Security considerations:
Allow only the required file types and enforce a maximum file size.
Do not trust the original filename or extension alone; validate the file content as appropriate.
Generate a unique filename on the server.
Store uploaded documents outside the publicly accessible web root when possible, and enforce authorization when retrieving them.
