We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Windows Server Administrator with a solid background in managing Windows Server environments, including ESXi, operating systems, Active Directory, and patch management, with a primary focus on Disaster Recovery. This role requires a proactive individual with exceptional troubleshooting skills and a deep understanding of server infrastructure.
Technical Requirements
- 4-9 years of experience in Windows Server administration, with expertise in managing ESXi, operating systems, Active Directory, and patch management.
- Strong understanding of virtualization technologies, particularly VMware vSphere.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and task automation.
- Experience with backup and recovery solutions, such as Veeam Backup & Replication.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on root cause analysis.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server operating systems in both physical and virtualized environments (ESXi).
- Manage and maintain Active Directory services, including user accounts, group policies, DNS, DHCP, and security permissions.
- Develop and implement patch management strategies to ensure server infrastructure remains up-to-date and protected against security vulnerabilities.
- Develop Disaster Recovery (DR) plans, conduct regular testing, and ensure recovery objectives are met in the event of system failures or disasters.
