Rick has been in the industry since 1984, originally working on COBOL, CICS, DB2 and VSAM applications. He learned about off-mainframe development in 1992 doing his own migration from an IBM environment to Windows, then OS/2 and finally to SCO Unix. He has expanded his skill base to become quite proficient in the .NET technology. Utilizing .NET, corporations and individuals who use or have COBOL can greatly extend the usefulness of their applications.
