I'm an Australian retired IT Professional who worked in both Japanese and American Multi-Nationals before joining and Directing an IT start-up for 20 years. After spending 20 years in my own software company I enjoyed working in a number of different software companies and my own consulting practice until my retirement to the beautiful North East Coast of Tasmania, Australia in 2019. I'm a senior Member of Australia's professional body for ICT, the Australian Computer Society (ACS), and won the ACS Professional of the Year award in 2005. I have a deep interest in Science, Technology and both modern and ancient History and have been a dedicated self learner for as long as I can remember. After a very busy working life, upon retirement, I've enrolled in a full time University Degree in Information Technology and Communication at the University of Tasmania, majoring in Software Development and Data Science.
