My introduction to the world of writing is both strongly personal and broadly applicable. My debut novella, about a social worker's tragic revelation that she can't save everyone, was inspired by my real-life experiences in the profession. This work provided the groundwork for my narrative approach, which combines personal insight with fiction to investigate complicated human emotions and circumstances. My new novel marks a big leap in storytelling.
