Apple Announces Watch Series 4

At the most awaited Special Event, Apple has announced the launch of Apple Watch Series 4. The company never fails to surprise its customers, this time also, it has come up with a line of watches that are equipped with many latest and out-of-box features.

With its new launch, Apple has also successfully updated every part of the watchOS UI which benefits its redesigned bigger display and more information on apps such as photos, calendar, and maps. The new watch also faces eight complications such as the display is larger, but the overall volume is less than the Series 3 model, as well as thinner than the previous generation watch too. 
 
The company added new hardware to the Apple Watch Series 4 watch that helps in detecting falls and automatically make a call to emergency services if a person immobile for a minute after the fall. The watch also has some added features like screens heart rhythm for irregularities that depict due to atrial fibrillation, having the ability to take an electrocardiogram (EKG). It is said that the Apple’s latest Watch will be the first EKG product offered directly to consumers. For this, the company has received the clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to allow its Watch to be used as a medical device across the country.

Larger Display: The watch has a larger display with rounded edges (which is about 30 percent bigger than the previous version), the larger display also helps in the built-in app complications.
 
Completely Redesigned UI: The redesigned UI helps in more information in apps like photos, maps, and calendar.
 
In-built Electrocardiogram (ECG) App: The new watch also has an added features such as it shows screens with heart rhythm for irregularities which is depicted due to atrial fibrillation, that have the ability to take an electrocardiogram (EKG).
 
Fall Detection: The hardware in the Apple Watch Series 4 watch helps in detecting falls in which it automatically makes a call to emergency services if a person immobile for a minute after the fall.
 
There is a list of several other features including Re-engineered Crown, Swim-proof, with Bluetooth 5.0, Equipped with Watch OS5.

Apart from Watch Series 4, Apple has also announced three new models of iPhone - iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone XS Max. Not only this, the CEO Tim Cook also announced that Apple's HomePod and tvOS 12 with Atmos updates will be available from Monday, September 17th while macOS Mojave will be made available on September 24th.
