Microsoft has announced that Claude Fable 5, Anthropic’s newly released Mythos-class AI model, is now available in Microsoft Foundry. The launch gives enterprises access to one of Anthropic’s most advanced public models for building autonomous agents, complex workflows, and AI-powered applications at scale.  

The announcement comes just days after Anthropic unveiled Claude Fable 5 as the first publicly available model from its Mythos-class family. Microsoft says the model is optimized for long-running agentic workflows, advanced reasoning, software engineering, and multi-step task execution.  

What Is Claude Fable 5?

Claude Fable 5 is Anthropic’s latest frontier model designed to handle complex tasks that require planning, reasoning, tool usage, and autonomous execution. The model is derived from the same Mythos-class architecture that Anthropic previously restricted to a limited set of organizations through Project Glasswing.  

According to Anthropic, Fable 5 delivers improvements in:
