Facebook Unveils Oculus Quest, An All-in-One VR System

Recently, at the Oculus Connect conference in San Jose, California, the social media giant Facebook has unveiled its new wireless virtual reality headset - Oculus Quest, with a launch window of Spring 2019.

Recently, at the Oculus Connect conference in San Jose, California, the social media giant Facebook has unveiled its new wireless virtual reality headset - Oculus Quest, with a launch window of Spring 2019. It's an all-in-one VR system allowing six degrees of freedom. Oculus Quest makes it easy to jump right into the action—with no PC, no wires, and no external sensors. The Oculus Quest price is $399 (approx Rs. 28,000).
 
According to Oculus, Oculus Quest comes with Touch controllers making interactions in games seem more natural. Oculus will have over 50 games and experiences for the Oculus Quest launch including some of the popular Rift games like Robo Recall, The Climb, and Moss.

The Oculus Quest is supplemented with 'Oculus Insight' which is a breakthrough technology that allows your movements and interactions to be tracked without the need of an external sensor. It will cost you $399, for a 64GB headset - giving the convenience and portability of all-in-one VR.

The Oculus Quest has a resolution of 1600x1440 per eye with a lens spacing adjustment to help maximize visual comfort. Audio has been improved to provide high-quality, immersive sound with even deeper bass.
