NVIDIA and Foxconn Team Up to Build AI Factory Supercomputer in Taiwan

NVIDIA and Foxconn Hon Hai Technology Group announced a strengthened partnership to create a powerful AI factory supercomputer that will serve researchers, startups, and industries across Taiwan.

Powerful AI Infrastructure with 10,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs

Foxconn’s subsidiary, Big Innovation Company, will provide the AI infrastructure as an NVIDIA Cloud Partner. The supercomputer will feature 10,000 NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, significantly boosting AI computing power in Taiwan.

Supporting Taiwan’s Technology Ecosystem

The Taiwan National Science and Technology Council will use the supercomputer to provide cloud AI resources, accelerating AI development across sectors. TSMC researchers will leverage the system to advance semiconductor R&D with much faster performance.

Leaders Speak on the AI Industrial Revolution

Jensen Huang, CEO of NVIDIA, and Young Liu, CEO of Foxconn, highlighted the importance of AI in transforming industry and society. Dr. C.C. Wei, CEO of TSMC, emphasized how the AI factory supports cutting-edge innovation in semiconductor technology.

Building a Smart AI Ecosystem in Southern Taiwan

Minister Wu Cheng-Wen of the National Science and Technology Council explained the goal to create a smart AI ecosystem with smart cities and widespread AI use, working closely with NVIDIA and Foxconn.

Advanced Technology and Cloud Marketplace Participation

The AI factory will feature NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra systems with advanced networking and will join the NVIDIA DGX Cloud Lepton marketplace to provide easy access to GPU resources for startups, researchers, and enterprises.

Driving Innovation in Smart Cities, Electric Vehicles, and Manufacturing

Foxconn will use the AI supercomputer to improve automation and efficiency across smart cities, EVs, and manufacturing, connecting industries and citizens with AI technology to accelerate growth.
