NVIDIA has announced that Taiwan’s top computer makers, including Acer, GIGABYTE, and MSI, will build its latest personal AI supercomputers: DGX Spark and DGX Station.
These systems are designed to bring the power of data center-level AI computing to a desktop-sized device, making it easier for developers, researchers, and businesses to build, train, and test AI models locally faster and more securely.
The new systems are powered by NVIDIA’s Grace Blackwell platform and aim to meet the growing demand for local AI development, especially as more advanced AI models and autonomous systems emerge.
DGX Spark and DGX Station are built to power the next generation of AI research and development, said Jensen Huang, NVIDIA’s CEO. They’re direct descendants of our original DGX-1 system that helped start the AI revolution.
About DGX Spark
- Features the NVIDIA GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip.
- Offers up to 1 petaflop of AI performance.
- Includes 128GB of unified memory.
- Ideal for developers, students, and researchers working on generative AI and other advanced workloads.
- Easily connects to NVIDIA DGX Cloud or other cloud/data center systems.
About DGX Station
- Built with the NVIDIA GB300 Ultra Superchip.
- Delivers up to 20 petaflops of AI power and 784GB of memory.
- Supports ultra-fast networking up to 800Gb/s with NVIDIA ConnectX-8.
- Can be used by a single user or shared across teams using Multi-Instance GPU (MIG) technology, acting like a personal cloud for AI development.
Both systems come preloaded with NVIDIA’s software stack, including support for popular tools like PyTorch, Jupyter, and Ollama, plus access to NVIDIA NIM microservices and NVIDIA Blueprints.
Strong Industry Support
Global computer brands like Dell and HP are also building and offering these systems.
- Dell is integrating the technology into its Dell Pro Max series for businesses needing high-performance AI on the desktop.
- HP is introducing the HP ZGX, designed to help developers and professionals unlock data-center-grade AI right at their desks.
Availability
- DGX Spark will be available starting July 2025 from Acer, ASUS, Dell, GIGABYTE, HP, Lenovo, MSI, and other partners.
- DGX Station will be released later this year from select brands.
