LAS VEGAS — January 5, 2026 — Samsung Electronics today formally introduced its “Your Companion to AI Living” vision at The First Look, its pre-CES® 2026 press event held at the Latour Ballroom of the Wynn Las Vegas. The unveiling marks a strategic push by Samsung to position artificial intelligence as the core of its consumer ecosystem — transforming everyday devices into intuitive, connected companions.
Samsung’s leadership outlined a future where AI goes beyond a feature to become a foundational philosophy shaping product design, user experience, and seamless interaction across mobile devices, displays, home appliances and digital services. The company says this approach aims to bring “joy, convenience and care” into daily life through smarter, personalized technology.
TM Roh, CEO and head of Samsung’s Device eXperience Division, opened the event by highlighting Samsung’s AI leadership and the company’s ability to deliver integrated AI experiences via its connected ecosystem. According to Roh, the vision will allow users to move past basic automation to richer, meaningful interactions with their technology.
AI Everywhere: Hardware Meets Intelligence
Central to the vision is the integration of AI across product categories rather than confining it to individual devices:
Next-Generation Display Tech — Samsung showcased its 130-inch Micro RGB TV, featuring a micro-sized RGB light source and an advanced AI Engine Pro for vivid picture quality. The TV incorporates the Vision AI Companion to deliver personalized recommendations — from entertainment to meal ideas — based on context and user preferences.
Connected Home Ecosystem — Smart appliances, such as AI-enabled refrigerators and laundry systems, are positioned as active helpers that anticipate users’ needs. AI-powered features assist with food tracking, recipe suggestions and home management tasks through enhanced SmartThings integration.
Holistic User Support — Samsung also previewed advancements in proactive digital health and wellness technologies. AI capabilities embedded in wearable devices and connected systems aim to shift care from reactive monitoring to preventative, personalized guidance.
AI as Daily Companion, Not Just Feature
Industry observers note that Samsung’s CES 2026 presentation frames AI as an everyday utility rather than an add-on feature. This broader ecosystem approach demonstrates Samsung’s intent to unify products under a consistent AI strategy that enhances daily life outcomes — from entertainment and productivity to home comfort and wellbeing.
The Your Companion to AI Living showcase continues through the CES event, as Samsung joins other global tech leaders in Las Vegas highlighting innovations that promise to redefine consumer technology in 2026 and beyond.
