The new app brings many of WhatsApp’s most requested features directly to the wrist, enhancing convenience and accessibility for Apple Watch users.

The WhatsApp Apple Watch app includes:

• Call Notifications: Instantly see who’s calling on WhatsApp without taking out your phone.

• Full Messages: Read entire WhatsApp messages — even long ones — directly on your Apple Watch.

• Message Replies: Write and send messages right from your wrist.

• Voice Messages: Record and send voice messages hands-free.

• Reactions: Quickly react to messages using emoji.

• Enhanced Media View: Enjoy clearer images and stickers optimized for the Apple Watch display.

• Chat History: View more of your recent chat history within the app.

As always, WhatsApp ensures that all personal messages and calls remain end-to-end encrypted, maintaining the same level of privacy and security as on mobile and desktop.

Availability

WhatsApp for Apple Watch is compatible with Apple Watch Series 4 and later running watchOS 10 or newer.
