Windows 10 Update, Redstone 5 To Be Out In October

The new Windows 10 update, 1809, was recently announced to be out in October 2018. The new feature update is code-named Redstone 5 and it is expected to add many new exciting update to the OS and enhancements to the user experience.

The new feature update is codenamed Redstone 5 and it is expected to add many new exciting updates to the OS and enhancements to the user experience. On the same day as the release, Microsoft will also be putting out the server compliments.

The updates range from a new dark theme in file explorer, live folders can be named in Start, a redesigned snipping experience via WIN + Shift +S. it also includes an updated Cortana with a wider landing page, there are insights available for typing in the Settings and much more. The announcement also re-instigates that the update will be run on "nearly 700 million devices" which use Windows 10 which might be because they are planning something bigger. Since Microsoft is going to lift its support for Windows 7 in 2020, they would have to act according to the movement of users and correspond the updates with it.

The next update is in its testing stages and is expected to come out in April 2019 named 19H1.
