xAI’s Grok chatbot can now answer questions about objects that are in view of your smartphone’s camera, offering a similar real-time vision feature as Google’s Gemini and ChatGPT.
Introducing Grok Vision
xAI launched Grok Vision, allowing users to point their phones at objects like products, signs, or documents, and ask Grok questions about them. The feature provides real-time responses based on what it “sees.”
- Availability: Grok Vision is currently accessible only through the Grok iOS app.
- Android Users: Unfortunately, this feature isn’t available yet on the Android version of the Grok app.

In addition to Grok Vision, xAI has rolled out two other key features.
- Multilingual Audio: Grok now supports multiple languages, allowing users to interact with it in their native language.
