Microsoft wants to increase H1 Visas

Who says there are not enough jobs in USA in IT? For some companies, it's other way around. Companies can't find skilled workers to fill these positions.

Microsoft alone has 6000 IT jobs they can't fill, reported by InformationWeek.

"We are creating unfilled jobs," said Microsoft chief counsel Brad Smith, speaking at a forum on immigration policy at the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C. "We have a shortage."

Microsoft is actually asking congress to increase the H1-B visas cap to sponsor more work visas to foreign workers.
