Tips to Be a Developer And/Or Good Professional in the Field of Information Technology

Tips to be a developer and/or good professional in the field of Information Technology:

  1. Learn as much as possible about your area.

  2. Learn as much as possible about the infrastructure in your area.

  3. Learn to listen to users, the less intelligent will make you strive to do a better job.

  4. Clear your mind when you see the final result, imagine that you do not even know what that is for, get out of your body (no drugs please)

  5. Be good at networking or learn to do everything alone.

  6. The family will not help you or understand what you do, be patient and concentrate on your work without forgetting your family identity.

  7. If you are not learning at least one new thing a day, you are not doing it right.

  8. Ignore the technological trends and focus on user satisfaction, when the technology is mature (version 3.x) see if it will still be relevant in the next 2 years.

  9. Do not have children before the age of 30 if you want to be very successful at work.

  10. Practice some hobby outside of sitting in front of the computer.

No one will be able to create an app thinking of selling to a giant, but you can think and do small things in a grandiose way.

Do not wake up thinking about creating that super app that will change the world. No one who has already done so has thought so; thousands of people do it every day without success. Just give it your best and demand more and more of yourself while improving your skills. Thousands of people wake up desperate thinking about how their day will be, whether Artificial Intelligence will get their job etc., just as companies rush desperately everywhere hoping for something to happen, they fear their competitors and try to predict a future that often does not happen.

The work you do today may be irrelevant tomorrow. The TOP company today may fall tomorrow, anything can change. What you can do is to be a trustworthy person, to have your word be valuable, to be honest with yourself and others, to build value in your relationships, and to be ethical. Do not just think about pay, but what it will add to you in the long run. Of course, you have to live well. But most of all, make lots of friends in your personal and professional life. Do not expect anything from anyone, but learn to know who you can trust.
