While planning a big application in SharePoint we must aware about some of the limits and boundaries provided by SharePoint. For example if you are planning to store large amount of data in SP list then you must aware of List View Thresholds so that in future it cannot break your application.
So its better practice that we should make our self aware about the SP limits and boundaries for SP2013.
