    It's the same used technique as this article, but what if you want to download the file asynchronously then the webclient will be the best alternative with its downloadFileAsync Pleas take a look on this MSDN http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.net.webclient.downloadfileasync.aspx

    Or you can simply make use of the System.Net.WebClient.DownloadFile Method (Uri, String);
