An information source to understand the foundations of Service-Oriented-Architecture and Web Services.

Today, the integration of enterprise applications using the principles of Service-Oriented-Architecture and Web Services technologies is a hot topic. We can find a handful of buzzword and concepts all over in internet.  SOA is a design phylosophy modeling the relationship among the service provider, service consumer and the service interface's publisher (an information broker). A service is a software component that provides a well-defined interface, and publishes in a central directory for the service consumer to discover and consume this service.
Web Services are technology specifications supporting the implemention of standard interfaces of services, and they allow universal connectivity between application running in different platforms.
