In the past C# Corner has created a printed book strictly through its community called The Complete Visual C# Programmer's Guide. The book had ended up in Amazon, Barnes and Nobles and Borders. Its been a while, but we are looking to do a new book on Silverlight technology. Authors will receive royalties, recognition, and prizes from C# Corner.
The initial TOC is as follows:
1. History and Installation
2. hello world
3. deploying to ASP.NET
4. Data binding and data access
5. isolated storage
6. Mouse and Keyboard
7. graphics and fonts
8. Layout controls, input controls, and the
datagrid
9. Custom controls in Silverlight
10. Communicating with WCF Services
Each author would own a chapter and write a complete and technically accurate description of the topic in the chapter.
If you are interested, either respond to the blog, or email me at [email protected]

Thanks to all the people who have signed up to do this book. The project list is finalized and C# Corner is no longer accepting new authors. If you did not get a chance to be on this project, keep watching C# Corner, for the next book project soon to follow!

We now have 6 authors who have volunteered for the book project. I will probably close out the list by the end of this week, since authors have volunteered to write more than one chapter, so if there are any more takers please let me know ASAP!! We are excited to get started. [email protected]

So far we have five authors who have offered to help on this book, we are looking for five more authors. Do we have more writers who want to get known? We are shooting for the beginning of October to have the full list, so if you are thinking about writing, please contact me. Thanks! [email protected]

Thanks Mahesh and Purnima! So far we have 3 authors. I'm looking for a total of 10 + 1 tech editor. If you've never been a part of a book project, here is a chance to get some experience as an author.
