Here is definition from Google but what do you think about it? Have you used it?
A wave is equal parts conversation and document. People can communicate and work together with richly formatted text, photos, videos, maps, and more.
A wave is shared. Any participant can reply anywhere in the message, edit the content and add participants at any point in the process. Then playback lets anyone rewind the wave to see who said what and when.
A wave is live. With live transmission as you type, participants on a wave can have faster conversations, see edits and interact with extensions in real-time.

I agree. Actually yahoo already have search and groups :). They had it even before Google.

@Mahesh It is a long term game & Time will determine the winner .., But the interesting fact is google's rival yahoo fared really poor in product designing. products scrapped by yahoo (to name few) Yahoo Photos Yahoo BriefCase Yhaoo GeoCities Yahoo Auctions Yahoo HotJobs Yahoo Mash In Pipleline: :-) my predictions Yahoo Groups Yahoo Search Yahoo TV Yahoo! Google keep failing in new products. Wonder where this company is going? Search isn't doing that great. They keep reducing website commissions to keep up with the earnings but how long? What do you think future of Google is?

I agree. Besides Google search and Gmail, I do not like any of their products. I think they should just stick the search. Now, even in search, they are stealing ideas from Bing :)
