am doing a project on voice based email service...i need help on how to start this project.

m using windows 8 then how should i start these project for my final year?? 
i am not expert in coding but i can do it!! So plz give me the guideline how i should implement to complete my project

What OS are you using currently? Is it windows 7?
Do you know about windows 7 speech recognizer? or System.Speech dll of .NET framework 4?
