Well, I don't have huge knowledge on this title but you have asked for suggestion that's why putting my inputs here.

To view your app good on different viewports/browsers you can do following things:

i) You can use JQuery.Mobile templates and create the separate pages of desktop view and mobile views. It will double your work but increase the application performance.
