biometric connection

Biometrics are just a new technology based on the hardware that you provide, whereas the Ethernet works in the "Networking" section. In Networking there are no biometrics, there are just clients, servers and a data transmission medium; internet cable. 

 

When you want to send the data from one machine to another, you are going to send the stream of bytes from one machine to another. So, I would say that you convert those metrics to bytes and then transmit them over network.
