Can't get hit on break point

Question

after adding a webpage to my project as existing item, it cant't hit the break point while debugging...what should I do?

If it shows exclamation marks where you had inserted the breakpoint, just hover your mouse over there, read the information over the tooltip, it might not build properly and searched for the source code. Clean and Rebuild the project might fix this issue. Hope it helps :)

Hi Aleena , I've also had troubles with breakpoints multiple projects in a solution 1. make sure your build configuration in Debug mode or 2. Right click on your project => Property =>Web Verify that the correct server is selected IIS local or IIS Express . if its IIS Local ,Change into IIS express . or 3. Clean Solution and remove all bin and object folder and try again or 4.Right mouse click on your project Step 1: select Properties ==> select the Build tab Step 2: make sure Define DEBUG constant and Define TRACE constant are checked Step 3: Click the Advanced Step 4:Set Debug Info:full and click on okay Step 5: rebuild solution if its working .. please share more details about your question . Close the solution and open the solution freshly Clear the temp files and browser cache memory

Hi. Please check in your new webpage first break point is exist or not. Otherwise add your break point and clean the project and rebuild and run.It will definitely work. Thanks.
