Data directory exapmle in sql server connection string

First Understand the basic things,

 

If you want to deploy your application in client machine or any other machine , you should maintain your connection string in a common place to change in feature.

 

That common place is called as App.config file. For web application we can maintain all the configuration things in web.config. 

 

But for windows application, we can maintain all the configuration things in app.config.

 

To add app.config file in your project , select your project -> right click -> add new item -> select data -> you can find App.config file. 

 

Sometimes default the app.config file will be added in our projects , if it is not added you can add it manually!...

    where i need use app.Config , i mean in which file

It will help you always, whenver you change the sql server name or path or directory!..
