Writing a console application and make it a scheduled task is probably a good idea. No user interface. In case you want to make it more flexible, consider implementing command line arguments.

 

Wherever your data is held primarily, I believe, MS-Access, it is a good idea to keep a detailed log of activity of the execution of scheduled job.

 

Keep data as, upto which point you have copied over the data. Next time create a query to fetch data from that point onwards, etc.

 

Extensive logging in a console application will help you find and rectify error easily. If devices are always connected to internet, consider sending a mail on success / failure, which will give you peace of mind and confidence.

 i have a clocking software working with sql databse i have new customer who has device working with ms access database.so to work with my software i should tranfert some data( employe , group, authentification log)to my sql database,always i should verify if there is new data to ms access to transfer it.i think to develop a windows service or integrate transfert in my aoolication.

Can you explain your requirement a little bit more? It seems like you want to migrate or transfer data from one database to another and want some interface in Windows Form Application. If that's the thing, you can add multiple connection strings in app.config file that are referring to your Access and SQL Server Database. To connect with MS Access with ADO.Net, you need to add a System.Data.OleDb namespace and for MS SQL Server you need to add a reference to System.Data.SqlClient namespace.
