DataList and Templates

Question

I have a problem while creating a web page with Visual Studio 2005 using the DataList control and the corresponding templates. I drag the DataList on the Form, I connect it to a working SQLDataSource and click on 'edit Templates'. But when I drag new elements like a hyperlink into the template then there always seems to occur an error. Normally I think it should automatically align the new element in the templete within all the displayed elements of the DataList. But it actually shows all the hyperlinks always on one spot of the web page. But the data binding within the hyperlink seems to work. So they are filled with the value from the database but are all located on the same place on the web page. Thanks for any suggestions because I have no clue where I made a mistake.
