DISTINCT clause in a LINQ query

Hi Rahul,

Distinct clause fetches unique records from the collection . Example is as below :

using System;

using System.Linq;

public class Program

{

public static void Main()

{

System.Collections.Generic.List Names = new System.Collections.Generic.List();

Names.Add("Abundantcode.com");

Names.Add("TestCode.com");

Names.Add("Abundantcode.com");

string[] AbundantArray = new string[] { "Abundantcode", "is", "a sourcecode site" };

var result = (from m in Names

select m).Distinct().ToList();

foreach(var item in result)

Console.WriteLine(item);

Console.ReadLine();

}

Output :

Abundantcode.com

TestCode.com
