Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.Document myWordDocument = Globals.ThisAddIn.Application.ActiveDocument;

myWordDocument.Activate();

object missing = Type.Missing;

Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.Shape nShape = null;

Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.WdStatistic stat = Microsoft.Office.Interop.Word.WdStatistic.wdStatisticPages;

int num = myWordDocument.ComputeStatistics(stat, ref missing);

foreach (Section section in myWordDocument.Sections)

{

//string sign3 = ConfigurationSettings.AppSettings["Sign2"];

string FileName1 = @"C:\temp\3.png";

nShape = section.Headers[WdHeaderFooterIndex.wdHeaderFooterPrimary].Shapes.AddPicture(FileName1, false, true, 0, 0, 130, 70, Type.Missing);

nShape.Fill.Visible = MsoTriState.msoTrue;

nShape.Line.Visible = MsoTriState.msoFalse;

nShape.Fill.Solid();

nShape.Fill.ForeColor.RGB = (Int32)WdColor.wdColorBlack;

nShape.RelativeHorizontalPosition = WdRelativeHorizontalPosition.wdRelativeHorizontalPositionMargin;

nShape.RelativeVerticalPosition = WdRelativeVerticalPosition.wdRelativeVerticalPositionMargin;

// center location

nShape.Left = (float)WdShapePosition.wdShapeLeft;

nShape.Top = (float)WdShapePosition.wdShapeBottom;

}

That you cannot do, Microsoft Word will always allow the users to resize the images. That is a feature of WYSIWYG editors, you cannot disable it.

What solutions have been tried by you? Share the code. :-)

Plus, in Word you do not actually resize the images programmatically, instead you pass the image with dimensions already set up. You would need to resize the image before passing it to the document.
