How to configure and use static ip address in iis server MVC

Hi i have one project which is created in Asp.net MVC5. Now i like to host my application in IIS Server. i did that too but now i like to host my application in IIS server using my static IP address. But i cant able to change the default IP address. I tried to change the default IP to my static IP address in Bindings. After changing the IP address I tried to host my application again but it didn't working with my static IP address.So now my doubt is "IS it Possible to configure Static IP address in IIS Server". Please any one help me to resolve this issue.

See eg ur server ip address is 192.168.1.1 Now u want to access from outside. Use internet ip address and forward that ip address to 192.168.1.1 its called port forwarding. Note that internet ip is changing time to time then use no-ip.com to change the ip address Thanks Basit

The IP address that you need to change is of the server itself. The server would be the one being requested for the resources, which in turn it would pass on to IIS server later to return the result. I wrote an article on a similar condition. I used the following:
Windows Server
ASP.NET MVC 5 (Not ASP.NET 5)
IIS for hosting
