Session.Timeout is int value, can't be less than one.

But you can use javascript using ajax code and put setTimeout(4000); /4seconds, or what you want, to call the page and clear the session.

if you are using .net core, you can set timeout in seconds.
services.AddSession(options =>
        {
            // Set a short timeout for easy testing.
            options.IdleTimeout = TimeSpan.FromSeconds(10);
            options.Cookie.HttpOnly = true;
        });
if you are using Regular .Net Framework, you can only set in minutes.

Hi sunil,

No I dont think so it possible. Its minimum you can set 1 minute.

Is there any specific scenario where you need to set your session time less then 1 minute ?

Hi Sunil,
The unit of Session Timeout in ASP.Net is minutes. Its default value is 20 minutes and you can set it value as per your need. It can be anything 1 minute, 2 minute, 25 minutes etc. to max of minutes in a year. You can set it in web.config or at individual pages.

Hi. I don't think so it is possible because bydefault it will take the value in minutes. The minimum value you can take is 1 minute. Thanks.
