Yes, you can. That's the whole purpose of it.

 

However, you will not be able to do it directly. There should be some component, running on Raspberry Pi, which will talk to Arduino get the data and write to SD.

 

You can bypass Raspberry Pi altogether if you go the Arduino shields way, for example, data logger shield, etc.
