Number formating in Crystal Reporting

I have an existing report in Crystal Reporting. There are a couple of parameter fields. The Value Type is Number, but when I enter 9 in the prompt dialog box, it becomes 9.00. The same thing happened to the Member ID field. I typed 1234 and it shows 1,234.00 right there. And the Date shows 8.00/2008.00. On my co-worker's computer, the same report works correctly showing 9, 1234, and 8/2008. What's wrong with mine? Please help!
