Restrict Attachment File Type Using Content/Script Editor

Question

Hi, all, 

 

I want to forbid user to upload txt files as attachment to a sharepoint list. As I can't manage the whole site, I'm thinking using content/script editor to acheive this.

 

I'm a super newbie to coding...could anyone help? thanks.
