I wonder why Microsoft is behind on schedule when releasing SQL Server.
SQL Server 2008 is releasing with Visual Studio 2010. Don't you think they should keep up with versions?
What do you think? Please discuss.

We should certainly discuss this topic, since that would shape our future efforts.
According to me they are not sure, especially with controversies surrounding LINQ to SQL. May be Microsoft is planning for a complete package this time making both backend and platform compatible and probably for fully backing Entity Model.
Although I could be wrong or miss the point here.
By the way what are others thinking about this situation?
