The name 'FileUpload1' does not exist in the current ASP.Net

Double check your page directive the the code behind file (aspx.cs) and make sure that your .ASPX file is pointing to your code behind file. So if you have a code behind declared like this:

namespace NewSite {     public partial class _Default : System.Web.UI.Page     {

then make sure that your .ASPX page directive have something like this:

<%@ Page Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeBehind="Default.aspx.cs" Inherits="NewSite._Default" %>

                   Its showing ERROR in 
ERROR 1:

 "using (BinaryReader br = new BinaryReader(FileUpload1.PostedFile.InputStream))"

ERROR 2:




 ERROR 1 The name 'FileUpload1' does not exist in the current context


ERROR 2 :The name 'DataList1' does not exist in the current context


 

you can save video path in database and retrieve path when you want to play
and add
video src dynamically on cs page
  player1.Attributes.Add("src", vname);
here vname is path saved in database and file exist in your solution

are you using fileupload inside any gridview or any control

If you are using nested control. use findcontrol.
ex:
