Unable to create web Setup becoz of Primary Output option missing

I am trying to create a Web Setup and Deployment project of my web application. But facing the following issue:

Under Project Output Group, on selection of web application, it shows only Content Files. Promary OutPut, Source Files, etc options are missing from the list.

Can anyone plz help me out.
