stands for italic while <em> stands for emphasis. While both are typically (but not always) styled to display as italic, <em> is used when you want to put more stress on a word or phrase.

Basically, both output is the same but is used to represent stress or emphasis on particular word and sentence. where element represents text that is set off from the normal prose

Hi,

Solution 1:-

stands for italic while stands for emphasis.

While both are typically (but not always) styled to display as italic, is used when you want to put more stress on a word or phrase. would be used when you don’t need to stress a word or phrase, but do want it to be different from the words around it, for example when you might use it to indicate an alternative voice.

Solution 2:-

means text emphasis (in a paragraph or some other text content).

In legacy HTML, used to mean italicized text. In HTML5, has been repurposed into something else entirely. (Note that this was not true at the time this answer was originally written.)

The only thing these three elements have in common is that all three of them are typically set in italics. In other words, the fact that they all have the same default style is mere coincidence.

Hi, Hemalatha
The idea begind previous link was to show you how writing semantic markup appeared in html5 has much more of itsleft except just em vs i or b vs strong. (note nav, footer, aside etc which allow to structure the whole page markup semantically)
Though if you need a link that elaborates more on explicitly em vs i here's the one right for you https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTML/Element/em
It again confirms my words in a previous answer and also mentions some other semantic tags like cite

The difference comes when we talk about the concept of semantic markup
Em means that there is emphasis on a text whereas i is just for a formatting text as italic
Same for strong vs bold
