  • Cloud computing is a one which delivers the on-demand computing services through the internet. This cloud computing has a lot of benefits over the commercial services. 
  • The cloud computing is mainly used to provide service with high secure and scalable manner with minimum cost.

  • For example, a small development firm wants to scale up their infrastructure, by on premises. It takes more cost than the cloud computing and if they want to scale down, it is not effective with the cost. In such case they can move to cloud computing where they can scale up and down their infrastructure based on the requirements with a quick time and low cost compared to on premises.
  • This cloud computing follows pay as you go methodology. This means you can pay only for the service which you have used. This leads to easy scalable and maintenance of resources. There are lot of cloud service providers are available (AWS, Azure, Google cloud).
  • The Data security in the cloud computing services is very high with continuous monitoring of the resources by cloud providers. In case if any exception occurred data recovery from cloud is very easy by robust disaster recovery in the service providers. In On premises, there is a separate team required to monitor and maintain the hardware and software. But In cloud, this maintenance is also provided by service provides with low cost and highly secure manner. In simple word, instead of storing your data in a local storage, store your data in internet and it is easily accessible.

  Internet of things idea to practical implementation is because of cloud at the core.
