WPF Application for calculating distance between two places

I have to create a WPF project , in which i have to write a web service which return distance between input parameters pickup and destination, i also have to show pickup and destination points on map , I am new to WPF any one have an example like that or suggestion regarding that work.

Web Service cannot run in WPF, it can only be "consumed" by a WPF application. You need to create a project in WCF and then use it in your WPF project.
