I think the term answer needs to be clarified. Sometimes all replies are called answers. I think answers are only replies that are an "Accepted answer". In the list of Recently Updated threads, the Answered icon is used when a thread has replies, whether the replies are marked as an "Accepted answer" or not. It would help if in the list of Recently Updated threads, we could filter out threads that have no replies that are an "Accepted answer", although that would be less important if the icons were shown in the manner I describe above.
