As a Service Desk Administrator at Wipro, you will be an essential part of the IT support team, responsible for assisting users with their IT-related issues. Your primary role will involve providing remote support and resolving problems related to computer hardware, software, and applications. Key Responsibilities
- User Support. Provide timely and effective support to users by resolving IT issues through phone and remote support. You will be the first point of contact for users facing technical difficulties.
- Problem Resolution. Assess and troubleshoot problems with IT equipment and applications, ensuring that users have access to the most effective solutions.
- Logging and Tracking. Ensure that all user problems are properly logged and tracked using established IT ticketing systems. This will help in monitoring progress and ensuring that issues are resolved promptly.
- Escalation Management. Escalate complex problems to relevant 3rd line support groups and follow up to ensure that these issues are resolved efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Educational Background. A Bachelor's degree in any specialization (B.Sc, BCA, B.Tech/B.E.) is required.
- IT Knowledge. Strong familiarity with operating systems, Office software products, and IT standards. Excellent computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Windows, is essential.
- Communication Skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively communicate with users at all levels, including senior management.
- Problem-Solving. Good problem-solving techniques and conflict resolution skills are necessary. Experience or training in these areas is required.
- Team Player. Ability to work efficiently in a team environment with minimal supervision. You should be ready to work in a 24/7 shift setup.
