Are you passionate about pushing the boundaries of AI technology? We are seeking a dynamic software engineer to join our team in designing, developing, and optimizing AI frameworks for Intel Habana's cutting-edge deep learning accelerators. In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse, cross-geo team to enable and enhance state-of-the-art deep learning models, with a primary focus on the PyTorch framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Profile and optimize deep learning inference and training workloads on Habana DL accelerators.
- Identify and resolve functional and convergence issues, as well as drive performance optimization implementations.
- Design and develop software techniques for AI frameworks, with a focus on both hardware-agnostic and hardware-aware solutions.
- Contribute to the advancement and extension of the Training and Inference capabilities within DL accelerator software stacks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related fields with 4-10 years of overall experience.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and parallel programming.
- Previous exposure to Deep Learning frameworks such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, and JAX.
- Familiarity with Generative AI models and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Experience working on open-source DL projects.
- Strong understanding of PyTorch/Tensorflow operators and low-level kernel concepts.
- Knowledge of computer architecture and HW-SW optimization techniques.
- Experience with frameworks/platforms that have transitioned to production.
- Effective communication skills and experience collaborating in a cross-geo setup.
