Key Responsibilities
- Application Development. Design, build, and deploy customized applications using Lucidworks Fusion to support business processes and organizational goals.
- SME Ownership. Take ownership of assigned modules and functionalities, act as a subject matter expert (SME), and guide junior team members through best practices and technical standards.
- Cross-functional Collaboration. Work closely with various stakeholders including business analysts, UX designers, QA, and DevOps to ensure cohesive integration and smooth application delivery.
- Problem Solving. Proactively contribute to team discussions and solution brainstorming sessions. Offer innovative ideas for addressing technical challenges and improving existing systems.
- Code Reviews and Optimization. Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Focus on performance optimization, search relevance tuning, and scalable solutions.
- Continuous Learning. Stay current with evolving technologies, particularly in the areas of search platforms, APIs, and data indexing. Actively share knowledge and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team’s skills and practices.
Professional and Technical Skills
Mandatory Skills
- Proficiency and hands-on experience in Lucidworks Fusion (minimum 3 years).
- Solid understanding of enterprise search technologies and information retrieval methodologies.
- Expertise in search relevance tuning, query optimization, and data indexing strategies.
- Familiarity with developing and deploying search applications at scale.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs, web services, and integration protocols.
