Summary

Join our team as an Application Support Engineer and take on the challenge of identifying and resolving issues within critical business systems. Your role will involve leveraging your expertise in Microsoft Azure IaaS and Cloud Infrastructure to provide dynamic solutions to our clients.

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Technical Support. Provide expert technical support for critical business systems, diagnosing and resolving issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime.
  2. Cross-functional Collaboration. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring seamless operation of business systems.
  3. Documentation. Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including standard operating procedures and knowledge base articles, to facilitate effective issue resolution.
  4. 24/7 Support. Participate in on-call rotations to provide round-the-clock support for critical business systems, ensuring uninterrupted service for our clients.
  5. Process Improvement. Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime, contributing to the continuous improvement of our support services.

Professional & Technical Skills

  1. Strong Azure Expertise. Demonstrated experience and proficiency in Microsoft Azure IaaS, with a track record of successful implementations and problem-solving.
  2. Cloud Infrastructure. Good understanding of Cloud Infrastructure concepts and experience working with related technologies.
  3. ITIL Knowledge. A solid understanding of ITIL processes and best practices ensures adherence to industry standards in support operations.
  4. Monitoring Tools. Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights, enabling proactive issue identification and resolution.
  5. Problem-solving Skills. The candidate must have strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
  6. Communication Skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
