Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud solutions on the AWS platform, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools like Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of AWS cloud resources.
  2. Automation Strategies. Implement automation strategies for infrastructure management and continuous improvement, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency of cloud environments.
  3. AWS Cloud Services. Design, deploy, and maintain public cloud services on AWS, including extensive experience with IaaS, PaaS, and serverless technologies.
  4. Containerization and Orchestration. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift for deploying and managing applications in cloud environments.
  5. Linux/Unix Expertise. Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Linux/Unix operating systems, including system administration and troubleshooting in cloud environments.
  6. Application Performance Monitoring. Familiarity with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools like Dynatrace or New Relic to monitor and optimize the performance of cloud-based applications.
  7. Scripting Skills. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, GoLang, or similar for automation, tooling development, and integration tasks.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in relevant Cloud Engineering roles, with a strong focus on AWS.
  • Proven expertise in developing and implementing Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools like Terraform.
  • Experience designing and deploying scalable and secure AWS cloud services across IaaS, PaaS, and serverless architectures.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
  • Deep understanding of Linux/Unix environments, including system administration and scripting.
  • Knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, New Relic) is a plus.
