We are looking for a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure and automation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud solutions on the AWS platform, using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Develop and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools like Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of AWS cloud resources.
- Automation Strategies. Implement automation strategies for infrastructure management and continuous improvement, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency of cloud environments.
- AWS Cloud Services. Design, deploy, and maintain public cloud services on AWS, including extensive experience with IaaS, PaaS, and serverless technologies.
- Containerization and Orchestration. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift for deploying and managing applications in cloud environments.
- Linux/Unix Expertise. Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Linux/Unix operating systems, including system administration and troubleshooting in cloud environments.
- Application Performance Monitoring. Familiarity with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools like Dynatrace or New Relic to monitor and optimize the performance of cloud-based applications.
- Scripting Skills. Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, GoLang, or similar for automation, tooling development, and integration tasks.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in relevant Cloud Engineering roles, with a strong focus on AWS.
- Proven expertise in developing and implementing Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools like Terraform.
- Experience designing and deploying scalable and secure AWS cloud services across IaaS, PaaS, and serverless architectures.
- Familiarity with container orchestration platforms such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
- Deep understanding of Linux/Unix environments, including system administration and scripting.
- Knowledge of Application Performance Monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, New Relic) is a plus.
