Job Description

As a Senior Consultant, you are an expert at contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in defining the problem, proposing, and refining the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration, and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables, and contribute to the proposal development, client training, and internal capability-building, and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Required Skills

  • Efficient in writing Terraform modules and managing Azure services using Terraform.
  • Azure cloud formation and networking.
  • Azure AD/Connect/Migration experience.
  • Azure VDI/Server migrations (workload migration) experience.
  • Familiarity with Azure DB and Synapse.
  • Provide technical advice or technical leadership where required to support various IT infrastructure projects.
  • Design infrastructure solutions for high availability, resiliency, integrity, and security.
  • Perform project delivery functions ensuring successful implementations of new systems, platforms, and upgrades.
  • Review existing systems and platforms to recommend changes and improvements.
  • Quality assurance and documentation of the infrastructure architecture.
  • Act as L3 support escalation where required.
  • Other duties as reasonably required.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in DevOps and release management.
  • Ability to execute a project in terms of design, DevOps, and automation for public cloud environments.
  • Hands-on experience working with Infrastructure as Code – Azure CloudFormation and Terraform.
  • Understanding of logging, monitoring, and security.
  • Develop and document technical designs for the integration and implementation of new cloud applications and systems.
  • Lead the development of technical artifacts including Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM), Detailed Technical Design, Security Architecture Plan, Services Description Document, etc.
  • Plan and develop support processes that adhere to best practices (ITIL).
  • Communicate effectively through strong written and oral communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Integrate with non-cloud technologies and third-party vendor products/services.
  • Assess emerging technologies, stay abreast of industry trends, and give advice on investments in prices versus performance.
  • Experience with highly available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments.
  • Identifying and maintaining strong working relationships with all strategic programs and partners.
